The Freud Museum is pleased to present BLACK BOOK, an exhibition of new work by Gideon Rubin and the latest in a critically acclaimed series curated by James Putnam. Rubin’s specially created project for Freud’s final residence relates to the era of the late 1930s, when Freud left Vienna for London.
Beginning September 23rd, 2016, Chengdu MOCA is pleased to present the exhibition Memory goes as far as this morning, with two established artists of different backgrounds: Gideon Rubin (Israel / UK) and Shu Qun (China).
The title Gideon Rubin: Memory Goes Far as This Morning, is that of the first museum solo show of Israeli artist, Gideon Rubin exhibited at the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, one of Israel’s upcoming contemporary art museums. It displayed works created by Gideon Rubin during two art residencies in Tel Aviv, Israel and in Shenzhen, China, in 2014.
