London Art Fair
倫敦藝術博覽會

London Art Fair, the UK’s largest Fair for Modern British and contemporary art, opens the cultural
year with its 26th edition at the Business Design Centre, Islington, from 15 – 19 January 2014.

New features for 2014 include the Fair’s first museum partnership, which sees The Hepworth Wakefield present a unique exhibition of British Modernism, and a new series of international ‘Dialogues’, curated by Adam Carr of MOSTYN to mark the 10th edition of the critically acclaimed Art Projects section. Photo50, the Fair’s annual showcase of contemporary photography, is this year entitled ‘Immaterial Matter’ and curated by Charlie Fellowes and Jeremy Epstein, Directors of Edel Assanti.

Providing a supportive environment for collectors of all levels, London Art Fair uniquely represents a broad art ecology from artist collectives to younger emerging galleries through to the large established galleries of Mayfair. Over one tenth of the 128 exhibiting galleries come from outside the UK – including Tokyo, New York and Rome – while leading galleries from beyond the capital have been selected from cities such as Bath, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow. Between them they showcase over 1000 of the very best artists of the last century alongside the Fair’s engaging programme of curated exhibitions, talks, tours, films and performances.
