His jewelry piece “Fish in Waves” and titanium sculptures titled “PETALS” will make their exclusive debut at Annabel’s during Frieze London 2024, marking a highlight in the club’s cultural programming.

Wallace Chan’s “Fish in Waves” transcends traditional jewellery design by exploring the deep connection between fish and their aquatic environment, symbolising the intricate interconnectedness of all life. Crafted with exceptional detail and vibrant colours, the piece features an array of precious stones, including Paraiba Tourmaline, Yellow Diamond, and Tsavorite Garnet, set in lightweight Titanium. The inclusion of The Wallace Chan Porcelain adds a unique texture, making this artwork a dazzling fusion of the sea’s fluidity, the earth’s brilliance, and the limitless possibilities of dreams.

Alongside “Fish in Waves,” Chan’s series of titanium sculptures, “PETALS” draws inspiration from Baroque Catholic statues to create hanging artworks that combine distorted faces with flower petal-like shapes. Using the molten state of titanium – a strong, durable, and lightweight metal, Chan achieves a floating, ethereal effect that blurs the line between liquid and solid, conveying both weightlessness and a haunting presence.

Additionally, four other signature jewellery artworks by Chan, including “The Grace of Life”, “Wallace Cut”, “Entrancing Love”, and “The Self”, will be exhibited at the Club, providing members and guests with an immersive experience of the artist’s visionary world.

This collaboration marks the fifth consecutive year that Annabel’s, synonymous with art and culture, and has transformed the renowned private Members’ club into a showcase for leading contemporary artists. Past exhibits include Damien Hirst, Joseph Klibansky, Es Devlin and Conrad Shawcross during Frieze London.
