JAKE & DINOS CHAPMAN IN THE REALM OF THE UNMENTIONABLE
查普曼兄弟:無法言說之域

A major exhibition of new work by Jake and Dinos Chapman, whose provocative and confrontational art continues to shock and awe.

In the Realm of the Unmentionable brings together some iconic pieces from the last decade, along with works that have not previously been on public display, and new works created specifically for this exhibition.

Jake & Dinos Chapmans’ work is particularly concerned with consumer culture, mortality, morality, religion and horror. They continue to be influenced by the work of Francisco Goya (1746 – 1828) and George Bataille (1897 – 1962), Surrealism, philosophy, psychology, and the holocaust. In an exceptional body of work that encompasses a vast range of art forms and media, Jake & Dinos Chapman engage with fundamental questions about what it is to be human.

This exhibition has been crowdfunded through the Art Fund’s ‘Art Happens’ project.
