United Visual Artists : Momentum, @ Barbican Curve Gallery. 13 February 2014 – 1 June 2014 UVA, (United Visual Artists)在Barbican环形画廊的装置作品 Momentum由12个悬挂在天花板上摇锤组成。这组结合了3D打印科技制成的摇锤，由疏至密的排列在180度的环形长廊之中。每一个摇锤都是光源和声源，在UVA编排的模式之下起舞。摇锤的底部是光晕所在，昏暗的羽白色光线在点状和环状之中切换。同时切换的还有不同的音效，光与声的协奏主导着整个画廊黑暗的环境。 而Barbican的环形画廊，正式艺术中心音乐厅的舞台后场。一墙之隔，便是音乐厅的主舞台。或许当台上的演奏家和歌者正站在一束高光下，我们在环形画廊中，也成为了UVA光线之下的表演者。 在这一次的环形画廊之中，前半部分发光摇锤的排列较为松散，给了观者初入空间，感知方向的时间。而后半部分，七束光线几近等距排列，适应了光影环境的观者们也停下脚步体验UVA所营造的氛围。光与声的节奏时而摇摆不定，时而步调统一，有的观众会如同小孩一般不断追寻光线，让自己站在亮处，或是拿出手机相机捕捉光源和人影。手机屏幕中发出的光线，成为了环境中了另一组光源。我们点亮手中的光，投影于这些摇锤，作品与观者似乎也互换了位置。 UVA通过这光线空间装置，强调营造一种‘自然’的感官体验。而光线装置强调这人与光现象感官的互动，从Antony McCall的描绘圆锥的光线，到Olafur Eliasson的天气项目之中巨大的人造太阳， 我们看到的不仅是作品本身，更是作品之下分享光源的观众。在环形画廊这个剧场式的空间里里，靠墙而坐的观者，注视着这些起舞的光线。罗兰巴特曾把黑暗的影院空间和心理医生诊室做比较。黑暗给予人幻想的空间和时间，我们在大银幕前舒服的坐下，正如同躺在心理医生诊室的沙发上，等待一束光线的催眠。
